You talk in each meditation about going deeper and deeper and I'm having a hard time with that concept. I can feel that when you relax deeper and deeper, you feel it physically, but the mental part about going into your heart and your brain and all -- this deeper and deeper is like...its a tough one!
I was just wondering if you could explain the microcosmic orbit?
I have a technical question. When we were doing the Hip Circles, particularly the front and the back, I understood when we are tucking the tailbone that the chin comes towards the throat. When the tailbone moves back does the chin stay tucked toward throat or does it move?
Do we need to do all the exercises at the same length of time or can we do one exercise longer than the other?
I had abdominal surgery. And I guess this pertains to anyone who's had any surgery. Do those surgeries affect the flow of energy in your body. And over time, is there a way to have them flow more naturally --how it did before the surgery?
Doing the exercises. I've noticed that - especially today - that I became quite warm and I had to yawn a lot. So I guess there's stuck energy being freed?
My question has to do with how the practice effects our nervous system, as you mentioned. I experience sometimes when I start my practice, that my mind is really busy and kind of overwhelming and I have all kinds of emotions going on. And as I go through the practice. I really notice that my mind quiets down. My emotions become more centered. And I just notice, like this real calm feeling coming over me. And I'm wondering... my sense is that I'm resetting my nervous system when I do practice so that I'm not being reactive when I go out in the world. I can come from a much better place of responding to stressful situations. Is that what you're meaning when you mentioned you know how we go deeper and affecting our nervous system?
