In this module, Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D. will explore the implications of Francis Bacon’s original mission statement for modern science, “To obtain knowledge that can be used to dominate and control Nature,” and the unfortunate road it has led us down for the past 200 years. Bruce will then discuss the distinct theories of evolution that have been pushed forward since that time, and the more modern discoveries proving that the evolution of our species is not a slow, gradual process of change, but consists of long periods of stability broken by shorter periods of rapid change. He will also show you how to better understand and learn from our evolutionary history and its direct influence on human civilization, including mass extinctions, civilization upheavals, and the chaos we are facing in today’s world.
