This video describes some features of quantum theory and why the Plumed Serpent was called the Bringer of Life. In the official version, quantum theory describes wave movements on the microcosmic or subatomic level and over the past hundred years this has developed into the predominant understanding of physical reality. The reductionist bias of modern science however does not allow for a quantum theory that explains evolutionary processes on the macrocosmic level. In order to understand how the Mayan calendar describes quantum leaps in consciousness it is however necessary to understand quantum phenomena on a macrocosmic level. Macrocosmic quantum theory is what underlies the large-scale history of the universe.
This session begins with an overview of traditional quantum theory and expands this into macrocosmic quantum theory which explains the evolution of consciousness. This in turn underlies all evolution of life, the emergence and extinction of all species and explains why the Maya looked upon the Plumed Serpent as the bringer of life. Many other ancient peoples also saw cosmic serpents as creator gods, but only the Maya gave us the calendrical information that allows us to verify that the true source of life on all levels are macrocosmic quantum waves. The Cosmic Serpents were in other words what we with a modern terminology would call macrocosmic quantum waves. Ultimately these waves (Cosmic Serpents) emanate from the Cosmic Tree of Life which is a geometric structure that serve to define the anatomies and morphologies of the living species.
