This session, more dialogic than the first two, has four parts: the main material in two parts, an invitation/assignment, and an afterthought. Part 1 starts with my journey beyond my “birth religion” of reductionist materialism and ends with a vivid demonstration of how organization, beauty, and intelligence are woven into the fabric of reality. The second part discuses the boundary between real and unreal, possible and impossible, citing examples like UFOs, free energy devices, and alternative cancer cures – not to make truth claims for them (although I have my opinions) – but to suggest what it takes for new “impossible” technologies to enter reality. Finally, we touch on “prophetic speech,” and the conditions in which one might speak something into existence.
