This video gives a brief history of The Mayan culture and their “Calendar” system. This is a calendar system that has been very much misinterpreted and distorted in the modern world. Hence, while many people have heard about the Mayan calendar, not so many know what makes this calendar so special and uniquely different from the other calendars of our planet. There are however certain distinct things that sets it apart from other calendars, most importantly that it is the only calendar that is not based on the astronomical cycles. It is instead based on the evolution of consciousness, which is the reason that it provides us with a cosmic time plan including all aspects of human history. It is also truly cosmic in nature and not based on cycles in our own particular solar system.

This initial session of the video series also describes other significant aspects of Mayan and other Mesoamerican peoples’ cosmologies. Included among those are explanations to what the Tree of Life and the Plumed Serpent actually are. The basic system of the nine waves of creation is also presented together with the frequencies of these and their respective time points of activation.
