Healing Grief Pittra Kriya
Pittra has an ancient history in the East for healing from calamity, grief, or disaster. The word itself means “ancestor” or “history” and thus directly refers to something lost.
Ancient Kriyas for grief like those in this module were often practiced in nature, especially by a river, to give the sense of healing with the flowing of time.
In Yoga, stress is seen as a “frozen” state. It needs to be released with relaxation of both body and spirit, which is the function of these three Kriyas.
