LIO 2018 - 12 Spheres Zhiwa Woodbury - Onenss in the Sphere of Environment
1h 0m
Zhiwa Woodbury, Steve Farrell, and Anna-Mari Pieterse discuss the 12 Spheres of Life - ENVIRONMENT: The surroundings in which we live; the natural world as a whole – including ourselves
Zhiwa Woodbury is an ecopsychologist, eco-activist, and spiritual practitioner with a doctorate in natural law. He recently earned his M.A. in East/West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies with emphasis in ecopsychology and spiritual counseling. He is currently writing a book on the psychology of the climate crisis entitled CLIMATE GRIEF: Changing the Way We Think & Feel About Our Climate in Crisis.
Climate Psychologist Zhiwa Woodbury, M.A., J.D., provides the missing narrative for how we got into this mess over climate change, and more importantly, how we can still get out of it. His message is both simple and personal: we are being called on to change the way we think and feel about this existential crisis. It is not so much a political or technological crisis as it is a cultural and spiritual crisis, and as Pope Francis has remarked, this crisis is asking us to reconsider what it means to be human. 4-12-2018
