This program, originally aired on Mother’s Day, begins with a guided meditation that brings the listener into the heart of our Mother Earth and our own blessed bodies, our sacred temple, the “Garden of your own being.”
As the program continues, we are inspired to our true greatness, our inherent genius. Anakha says, “…this experience of oneness is hardwired in our DNA. It's not something outside of us that we have to strive for. It's an integral part of how we're wired, and it's more about awakening that inherent intelligence within us, within our DNA. I think also to do what we're talking about in this summit is to be fully alive, to actually be fully in our genius, whatever that is. It doesn't have to be something extravagant, but it has to be ours. So in that moment, as I was looking out at the water and the sand and the palm trees and the flowers, like all of creation, really just alive with that "yessence" -- saying yes to the essence of life. I think I've said it before. I made this very simple prayer. This truthful intent within my heart arose and said, 'Holy Spirit, bring me alive. Light my heart on fire so I can feel the aliveness of creation, of that oneness within me.'
Settle in for a sojourn into the sacred territory of our human experience, and discover the open door to the courageous and tender understanding of self and other.
