Mother Earth is deeply scarred. Humans seem to have an incessant unconscious appetite for gnawing away at the fabric of the Earth. According to a report produced by the International Resource Panel (IRP) – part of the UN Environment Program, the amount of the planet’s natural resources extracted for human use has tripled in 40 years. Growth and development at all cost - especially where our vested interests (which we all have) are at stake, is the ‘insanity of normality.’
