Dr. Kurt Johnson

Dr. Kurt Johnson is Coordinator of the Synergy Circles of the Evolutionary Leaders and a founder of the Light on Light Press, publisher of recent books on emerging international movements and networks. Author and activist, he has worked in professional science and comparative religion over 40 years. A prominent figure on international committees, particularly at the United Nations, he is author or co-author of several influential and award-winning books: Our Moment of Choice (2020) (Gold Nautilus, COVR and Living Now Awards), The Coming Interspiritual Age (2013), Nabokov’s Blues (2000) and Fine Lines (2015) (Brian Boyd Prize, 2019).

Kurt served on the faculty of New York’s Interfaith Seminary for 15 years and, for 25 years, was associated there with the American Museum of Natural History. He is host for the Convergence series on VoiceAmerica, publisher of three magazines: The Convergence, Light on Light, and Conscious Business. A partner in UNITY EARTH, Kurt is ordained, or certified, in five religious traditions.

He has a PhD in Evolution and Ecology and is author of over 200 scientific articles and seven technical books. A former monastic, is he a member or founder of the Evolutionary Leaders, Association of Transformational Leaders, Contemplative Alliance, Gaiafield Subtle Activism Networks, Self Care to Earth Care network, UN NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns, NGO Forum 21 Institute, the UN Committee for International Yoga Day, and is President of the Friends of the Institute of Noetic Science and on the Council for Prosocial.world

Roger Briggs

Roger Briggs co-founded the Planet Project in 2021, a non-profit organization inspired by his book Emerging World (2021). Roger spent his professional career in the public schools as an award-winning physics teacher, team-builder, and program developer, always with an eye toward creating environments that maximized human thriving and performance. His Girls Cross Country teams at Fairview High School won three Colorado State Championships over five years, while his love of the mountains and Nature found expression in rock climbing where he pioneered many cutting-edge first ascents.

Since retiring from the public schools, he wrote the book, Journey to Civilization (2013), and founded and grew a local non-profit for public lands stewardship based on deep partnerships between local governments, businesses, and the public. Roger now works at the global level serving the Great Transition to a regenerative civilization and planetary culture. The Planet Project has become one of many threads in the emerging global tapestry of people and organizations dedicated to co-creating a flourishing Earth.

Téana David

With a passion for creating at the intersection of ecology, spirituality, and social justice, Téana David is the Artistic Director of the ILLUMINATE Film Festival. As the former Executive Director of ILLUMINATE, she led its successful relocation from Sedona to its new Santa Barbara home. Prior to that, she served as Co-Director of the Shift Your World Film Festival and as Director of Deepak HomeBase in New York City, where she designed and curated a year-round event series with authors including Brené Brown, Byron Katie, Zainab Salbi, Robert Thurman, Marianne Williamson, Mark Nepo, Thich Nhat Hanh monastics, and Deepak Chopra. Growing up on Vancouver Island, Téana was drawn to protect the natural world from an early age and was active in community efforts to preserve local old growth forests. As a young actor and activist, she co-starred in a socially progressive children’s television series and impact-driven films for the National Film Board of Canada.

Today, Téana is a founding member of Artists for Amazonia, an entertainment industry initiative that addresses critical issues affecting the Amazon Rainforest. She has written and produced many short films to support this important cause including Weave of Life, narrated by Morgan Freeman and The Time Is Now with Txai Surui, Ziggy Marley, and Barbra Streisand. Other media projects include serving as Impact Producer for the Amazon Prime docuseries Changing of the Gods and as an advisor on the Sundance award-winning documentary, The Territory.

Téana holds a B.F.A from The Boston Conservatory and an M.F.A from Naropa University where she was introduced to the practice of Dharma Art – “art that springs from an awakened state of mind” – which continues to inform her personally and professionally.

Randall Libero

Randall Libero is a producer, online media authority, speaker, and radio/TV host who for more than 40 years has been creating original productions for network and independent television, broadcast news, and online media. He is most known as one of the first “Internet Producers” at the beginning of the New Media age (2000 - 2015) who developed and produced more than 200 original radio/podcast and video programs, live online events, and network platforms for a very long list of celebrity, best-selling author and business thought leader media clients.

His career began as a cameraman, editor, and producer of TV pilots, documentaries, TV talk shows and commercials in Los Angeles during the 1980s. In the 1990s, he created the first online media research facility and historical news archive for the U.S. State Department’s International Bureau of Broadcasting. After, he became a journalist writing breaking national and international news for CBS Radio and AOL/Time Warner.

He is also the co-producer and writer for a dramatic podcast, investigative audio docuseries and talk discussion program project about iconic film legend Marilyn Monroe at BehindtheIcon.com.

Currently, as a media historian, he is writing a new book on media and how it will influence our future and developing feature film and documentary projects that seek to promote inspirational messages and positive future visions through his company, Light on the Land Studios. Randall is also a speaker on subjects relating to the media's influence on society, culture, and human consciousness.
