2. Foundation Part 2

What’s your body telling you? Learn the language of your body.
When you recognize sensations in your body (your somatic experience), you are getting a clue about how you feel. When you don’t like how you’re feeling, you can change your somatic experience, which will change how you think, feel and respond.
This covers the basic language of your body and HOW to change your somatic experience.
Learn the language of your body so you can hear what it’s trying to tell you. Your body is talking to you. Are you listening?
As you watch this video:
Notice your somatic sensations, how your body feels when you go through these exercises.
Some of these will be inside your comfort zone, and some will be foreign or uncomfortable.
Remember this is about expanding your “comfort zone.”
Take note of which aspects of body language would serve you, would help you in challenging times, that may have been outside your comfort zone.
Remember, you have a CHOICE in how you respond.
Give yourself the challenge to stretch yourself when it’d be useful, and make a conscious choice to respond differently when the “old way” of responding doesn’t work.
