TCE 2 - Blurring The Line Between Human and Machine with Gregg Braden
Technology, Consciousness and Evolution

31-Mar-2022
In this module, Gregg will explore the question of whether technological advances are empowering us in a meaningful way, or simply causing us to lose touch with our deeper human connection by creating an isolated and disconnected “digital generation” that lacks the capacity for real intimacy. He’ll discuss the next step from that state, to the trend toward neuron-interfacing microchip implants and human-like robots and the belief that we might eventually achieve greater longevity by merging with these devices. He’ll also explore the implications of robots being given human rights, allowing for legal human-robot marriage or buying a robot baby to have as an eternal infant.
