Linda Carden is the mother of two amazing daughters, who for 24 years have been the loving force behind all that she has done and continues to do in service to the world. She is presently the owner of Studio Q Pilates in Wall, New Jersey where she practices her message of uniting mind/body/spirit through a higher purpose for Pilates- not just a series of workout exercises but as a spiritual practice. Her challenge with a back injury in her late teens perpetuated her interest in health and healing leading to a degree in Sports-medicine from SUNY Cortland and a desire to further her education as an Orthopedic Surgeon. Side-tracked from medical school she earned various certifications in the fitness industry including Aerobic Dance, Personal Training and Nutritional counseling, preparing her to negotiate ownership of an all-women’s health club in 1990 which she owned and operated for 5 years. The Universe had a different path, however, and in 1995 she left the health club and shifted her personal and professional focus from conventional fitness to Pilates, fueled in part with the continual desire to heal her back. There was a simultaneous awakening in her spiritual practice influenced by Deepak Chopra with the study of Ayurveda and primordial sound meditation that brought her to a deeper study of Pilates. She completed a comprehensive Pilates certification in 2005 through Body Precision in Rosemont, Pennsylvania and soon after opened Studio Q Pilates where her spiritual practice and Pilates practice continue to parallel each other. Over the course of nearly 20 years, her Pilates practice has been influenced through workshops by many highly respected Pilates practitioners and presenters. Likewise, she has studied under contemporary spiritual messengers such as Jean Houston and Neal Donald Walsch.
The merging of meditation and movement through Pilates as a spiritual practice has been a powerful foundation for her own healing and higher purpose in helping others to heal themselves. She continues to promote her unique perspective and teaching techniques through a Teacher Training Program and community outreach programs such as group meditations and speaking engagements at local colleges and organizations. Other projects include her inspirational posters which have sold and continue to be sold all over the world. In 2020 she published her book entitled “The New Science of Fitness... shifting from an antiquated paradigm of working out to a powerful movement practice of connecting within.” Her new website, www.cardenconnect.com holds a video library of over 20 movement sequences demonstrating a new language of fitness- through movement awareness.
She has just launched her own 5-module online Masterclass: Reframing Mindbody as Spirit”. This online video presentation reveals how we may re-frame the way we see ourselves as human beings – as energy – and how that lends itself to our inherent power to create our body and our lives to what we truly desire.

Awareness of our body through movement is the key to releasing tension. When tension is released, the body becomes light. This release to lightness is necessary to access our higher Self – to access our power to create what we desire.

Words are frequencies as creative energy. In this module we recognize the
necessity of changing our language that is more accurate to ourselves as energy and how we might re-write our language to create what we desire.
