Steve Farrell interviews our beautiful guest, Mark Nepo, in this inspiring and humbling call. Mark is a prolific poet, teacher, and storyteller. He has been called "one of the finest spiritual guides of our time," "a master storyteller," and "an eloquent spiritual teacher." In 1994, Mark published and recorded a landmark book, Inside the Miracle, which Publishers Weekly called one of the best audiotapes of the year. Sounds True has now published a new, expanded edition of Inside the Miracle, which gathers 28 years of Mark's writing and teaching about suffering, healing, and wholeness.
In this call, Mark shares the remarkable story of his journey with cancer and the insights he has gleaned along the way. He shares how transformation comes when we are willing to go deeply into our own experience and feelings, without denying or pushing them away, and that within the depths of those feelings and experiences we find the seed of Peace.
